1920s Palace Clothing Co. cap

Wonderful old cap - has been worn, but in very fine condition. Unfortunately, it is true to size - 6 3/4... might work for 6 7/8 but definitely too small for a 7. Bold herringbone wool fabric with calf sweatband that remains soft and flexible with stitching fully intact. There is some wear to the silk liner in a few spots, also what appears to be an old repair to the fabric that is well executed and hard to notice. The union label dates this to post 1918. A beauty that I am happy to keep but I thought I would check first to see if someone might be able to wear it. $75 including freight within the U.S. - will add actual freight costs to ship overseas.

I will give it a close look against some other caps from the era. I placed it on the wood stretcher to show the rear of the hat. The fabric has good weight - it does want to sit very flat.
