Wholly crap. This is it! What's the size, what's the inside condition, is the tag still present? And what's the white stuff?

Now that is a tough work jacket. Get the sleeve repaired, a dose of Pecard, if you haven't already, and you will be good to go. The hide appears to be well nourished, so you may have already treated it.

No tags, No lining, although it did look like it had one. Size is very small, maybe a 36. There is a little paint on the back. The sleeve is un sewn . I have it stuffed with white plastic shopping bags..Notice the poor seam alignment in the back.

The leather is in very good condition. I haven't done anything to it as I recall. I use it for Display.

Very intersting/historic jacket right there. Seems par for the course if it did not have a lining, recall that later 20's early 30's was dark times of depression. Just having a jacket, especially on that nice, was really a treasure in those times as I understand.

Man Terry. Where do you find this stuff? That's just awesome!

I like to tell a great tale about a back yard sale, thrift store, auction but..got it on ebay. I was probably one of the first to see it posted. Had a BIN or best offer. It was not cheap. OK, just looked up the price; $416 BIN with shipping. I put an offer in, but bought it before they looked at it. I seldom low ball when I make an offer. I wanted it and bought it. It would not have lasted an hour. I have nothing like it and doubted I would see another. I'm not quite certain what era. Probably 20s. It is a True piece of Vintage Leather Workwear. I may be using it in a display with some Vintage Guitars of the era.

I'm not too sure that I have seen another quite like this for sale. I have seen reproductions out of Japan. I believe there is a Stanhouse jacket shown on the net. I just don't recall the reference.

Yes, it is a very nice Historic piece. I have several other Police Jackets also true Workwear. They make you think and feel when wearing them.

I live in a small Railroad Town. This jacket fits well. I could imagine a man wearing this working in the Roundhouse, walking the Trains. It has the feel of work and care.

It is a great Coat and I'm glad folks appreciate it.
