Vintage Navy pea coat -- dating?
Hi all,
I recently purchased a vintage U.S Navy pea coat, and was curious about its age. Are there any resources that could help me figure this out? The coat's inner markings by themselves don't reveal much of anything. Any help is appreciated.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I‘m a long time reader of this forum, this is the first time I‘m posting or selling anything here. I‘m thinking about selling one of my jackets, so I wanted to let you guys know first. :)
I bought this jacket a view years ago and had it sent from the US to Europe by a...
Sold A Schott Perfecto Brand cowhide trucker (P560) in navy blue. Pebbled supple soft cowhide. It feels already broken in when new. It’s a 26" garment washed, lightweight, super soft, natural pebbled leather cowhide trucker jacket in Navy Blue. (The color is closer to the flash pictures but the...
This jacket is perfectly faded, perfect condition n-1 jacket with sun fading on back and arms. Believe it's late 1940s/early 1950s. Perfect mix of colors. Tag is hard to read but also has Conmar zipper. Let me know if anyone is interested!
Dear members
I am selling a new USN Navy Deck Hook Jacket made by Bob Dong. It's size #42 and I am selling it only because it's just a little bit too small for me. New one in #44 alreday ordered. Color is what the call "dark grey", but it's almost black. The pictures are below, I am asking for...
i want a new board racer and I am not sure about which leather or colour to choose . I am torn between black Vicenza , tumbled fqhh and blue navy Vicenza.
On all the photos I have seen the blue looks nearly black with just a subtle blueish note ,which i like. Does it look like this also in...
New member and never posted before. I have my dad's authentic Navy pea coat, size 40 that I wish to sell at this time; it's in near perfect condition. He served on the USS Coolbaugh from Mar 44 to Dec 45. How do I go about this on this site? I can take photos to post if you tell me how to...
Howdy y'all,
Two pristine CPO shirts for sale at very decent price that I only offer to TFL members. Reason for selling: Weather transition in Berlin makes me realize I don't have a use for either shirt so better find them a new home. PM for more info!

I posted about these jackets in another thread, but I wanted to start a dedicated one for the Cockpit G-1 Top Gun Heroes Jacket. I have tried on 3 different sizes so far and took measurements and pictures for everyone's benefit, in case some of you have been contemplating getting one. I can...
Hey Everyone! Been lurking on this forum for a while, but finally decided to join! I included a picture of me in my Cockpit G-1 "Mil-Spec" jacket (Style Z2108) in a size 42 regular. I am 6'2", 185 lbs, normally wear size 42 suits, and my chest measures about 42" at the widest as well. Can...
Two-week old deck hook jacket that has only been tried on and worn outside once. Condition is like new and can come with the original tags. No stains, tears, or visible flaws. It is a generous size 42 and it fits a 44-46 better. The sleeve length is the killer for me. I'm 5''8, 80kg with shorter...
This is not a strictly outwear discussion. I'd like to ask if anyone has experiences with BR or Eastman chambray shirts? Which one do you think is more faithful to the original designs and better in quality? Thanks!

They don't make them like they used to. This classic American Navy vintage peacoat in a classic navy color with hard to find corduroy pockets features the much vaunted kersey wool which is very smooth and keeps you warm better than today's wool that is being used. If you know anything about...
Greetings to the members of the forum, I am a newbee here. I am from Belarus and English is not my native language, so I am sorry for my grammar.
Recently I have obtained an original N-1 deck jacket. It is of September 1944 contract.
Could someone explain the meaning of the back stencils of that...
I recently bought a US Navy Issue peacoat from a thrift shop in NY. It came dirty and requires some tailoring work, yet is one of the coolest coats I have ever seen.
I have a slight issue though. In my religion we cannot wear wool and linen in the same garment. The special religious tester said...
