You can have them stretched in width or if it’s beyond stretching Whites can rebuild them up a width. I had a pair of 9.5Es turned into a 9D and a 10D - it’s not cheap but it is an option.
Mine was a comp weight Vanson with a zippered sleeve, so not the simplest. Leather Sewing PDX is where Langlitz refers people for repairs - so she comes about as highly recommended as I can imagine. Don’t know whether she’d do stuff by mail though. I did mine in person and having her show me...
Leather Sewing PDX does great work (I had them take an inch off the sleeves of a Vanson and the work is flawless), but I don’t know how easy they’d be to work with if you weren’t in the area.
4 very cool jackets that I just don’t wear (only the blue Le Laboureur has been worn more than 5 times). Happy to provide more pictures if desired. I accept PayPal (Friends and Family plus 3%) or Venmo. Prices include shipping in the continental US.
Le Laboureur Blue - $65. Garment washed by...
I’m thinking about getting a Cossack from 5 star - probably the slash pockets. Or a G1. Anyone bought either stock and have any comments? Not super interested in messing about with measurements and I have someone local who can alter sleeves if needed.
Sorry for the late response, my daughter stole and hid my tape measure. Will take more pictures tomorrow, if you are interested.
20” chest
18” shoulder
24” bottom of collar to hem
I have an Aero half belt in size 38 (and it’s a relatively true 38) if you’re interested. Brown FQHH - just too small for me as I’m really a 40. Can post pictures and measurements if you’re interested.
For sure. I just bought a used Vanson in immaculate condition for under $400. But these new pictures from reb_bel are intriguing. Wonder if they are moving more into production. Asked for pricing and will update when I get it
I can’t testify to the quality but I would also check out reb_bel on Instagram. They resell those jackets and speak English to some extent if you want to take the dive.
Here’s one thread on them:

My bad, clearly looked at too many leather jackets this morning before my coffee. However, I think the real question here is what is the sellers responsibility for a defect he was pretty clearly unaware of on a used item of clothing. To me, you buy used goods as is (unless there is actual...
So you bought a used jacket for half off retail, the seller missed a problem with the stitching (one you acknowledged was quite difficult to notice) and you expect him to eat hundreds of dollars in shipping? I think we’ve all been a little spoiled by Amazon, honestly. Most high end makers don’t...
That’s how a 141 fits. They aren’t super slim, though you could tighten up the waist a bit if you wanted With the side adjusters. It will fit somewhat slimmer once the leather breaks in and drapes more.
Have you looked at Headwinds Manufacturing? They have a good reputation as far as I can tell and they’re offering a presale price on their Goldsmith reproduction in russet horsehide.
