that'll have to do
Since I have thus far been able to afford and/or find a good fitting lid lately, I decided to go for the hairstyle I've always wanted.
For anyone who's worn one, how did you get your hair cut? I know my hair overall needs to be pretty long, but what about the back, and sides, etc?
...for...
I managed to obtain a size 8 Temple on ebay some time ago. Since then I have noticed a couple things:
1. The hat appears a bit too tight, at times I've had a small headache from it's fit.
2. I have "space" above my ears where the hat bows out, I assume a long oval cut would fix this?
The...
My 1971 Ford Maverick 2 door does not require the removal of my hat, and I do enjoy cruising in my stetson. I'm 6' 2" but my bench seat sits low and comfy.
Wow, just wow. That is a really neat collection, I wish I could see the repops in person. Take a close look at those people's faces, that's the look of a lifetime of hard work for a lot of them.
Got my vintage brown stetson sovereign in the mail today. The seller neglected to mention the nick in the felt at the top of the crown, but it's passable. I think a long oval would fit my head better, but where would I find a Size 8 LO?
Guess I do really have a big head, the hat does fit...
I just picked up a Stetson Sovereign on ebay, and I think it's time I had something vintage-styled to wear with it. Can anyone give me directions to photos or guides in this area? I'm not sure what era would fit my fancy, but I intend to find out. I'm a fan of suspenders for sure, while I...
I'm here with my observations, indeed.
I see a lot of you folks, men and women alike, as ?¢‚Ǩ?ìpurists?¢‚Ǩ? to your eras. While some may even have different eras to choose from, the subsets are clearly defined.
Myself, I like to mix things up.
I?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢m taking the lids and the...
great!
Must have passed over those, they are quite simply the first I've seen, but cannot be the last. I'm partial to that first one so we'll see what happens.
I have had my cheap $40 fedora for years, it's a size 7 7/8, and just a bit too small to be useful. Over those years, I've never seen a size 8 hat anywhere, do they exist?
out of nowhere
Mr. Deckard, I added you to mine, I've been floating around for a long time and I've always admired your style.

Somebody might recognize this face in the crowd, but I'm just putting my head up for a post or two to make it know that I'm still around. I went on a field trip to a couple of state parks and wore my fathers "air-flow" leather fedora, I had nearly forgotten how much I enjoy wearing a hat. For...
