    Silly Lipstick Question

Benitint is great! You paint it on and can vary the color with more or less layers. Lasts alllllll day and works great as a blush, too.

Hmmmm... As being an "endowed" woman, these outfits are a nightmare waiting to happen! They seem to look good on the willowy type that I'll never be.

    Rave 'n' Rant

I'm in love with the tiny tins of Nivea creme and have them all over the place. Smells wonderful, richly moisturizes, and costs a pretty 99 cents!

    Rave 'n' Rant

Definitely a must-have, although I never got the hang of using it on my cheeks.

Are there ladies present who have non-retro bf's, husbands?

With the exception of being an excellent gentlman, his old-fashioned shaving, and dashing long wool coat, he's just not vintage. And that is fine with me.:)

"Excuse me, Miss (or Ms. or Mrs!), do you journal?"

Audrey- How bitter sweet! I have a copy of my great-grandfather's "autobiography" (which consists of a mere ten pages) but nothing from any other relative.

"Excuse me, Miss (or Ms. or Mrs!), do you journal?"

ThesFlishThngs: I keep all of my important writings/ memorabilia in a compact easy-to run-out-of-the-house-with thrifted crate. Mind you- my husband and pup come before the writings! :)

"Excuse me, Miss (or Ms. or Mrs!), do you journal?"

Anyone have relatives' old journals or even those of strangers? Oh, how wonderful if my grandmothers or grandfathers had left writings of even the most mundane daily in-and-outs! A friend of mine collects vintage/antique diaries and journals and they are such a splendid read!

"Excuse me, Miss (or Ms. or Mrs!), do you journal?"

ThesFlishThngs: Oh, my! That's one delicious gift! I wonder: Do any of you have any plans/hopes for your writings in the future? (i am trying not to be morbid- sorry.) [huh] Again, I am unsure about this myself! As for now, they are just for me and are on the "If the house were on fire, I...

"Excuse me, Miss (or Ms. or Mrs!), do you journal?"

ThesFlishThngs: It isn't that I've been keeping journals that bothers my husband- just my need to keep things written down and that I often have to refer to my journals to find out when or how things happened, hence my bit about the printing press. And your journals are simply lovely!
