Its 1967, which doesn't fall into the Golden Era, but I saw someone posted their 70's automobile so I figured why not LOL Its a Jeep M715, been restoring it for over a year. What is the time difference between "classic" and "vintage"? As far as I know, "A vintage car" is not a correct...- Darek

Wanted: Mallory hats
I agree, Stetson Mallory hats are inferior to original Mallorys. However, occasionally I'll find a good Stetson Mallory for cheap money, and for 15 bucks, it can be put on the lower shelf of my collection. I'll keep my eyes open for a 1/4 long oval. I am a 1/8 size myself.- Darek

Cool Stetson for the smaller head
My size :p I'm not sure though, even though I've only started collecting vintage hats about 5 months ago, I'm not at all fascinated by straw hats. I guess I'm just more of a real fur felt type-a guy -

Eek, never knew the bow was backwards. Thanks for the head up, I'll swap that around. I used OxyClean believe it or not to clean out the stain. Let it soak for 10 mins in warm water w/ OxyClean, and then scrubbed it a little against its self. When it dried, it was gone! Thanks great... -

Hey guys. I got a Mallory fedora off of ebay in fairly poor shape. The crown needed reshaping, and the brim had a memory of pointing up. There was also a very large stain on the band I took it all apart, cleaned the brim, cleaned the hat, used a little steam to reshape the hat by hand, and then... -
