My wife has a small waxed-cotton raincoat we found at a vintage shop a while ago and she never wears it because of what you say, not warm in the slightest! I can imagine one campfire-side night and it would smell forever, thanks for the tips!- MAPip

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?
That's my favorite hat to go out with a casual outfit. It's soft and just has a more casual feel to it. Hard to describe exactly why that is, but it's easily the most versatile one I have. Yours looks great, I'll have to try it with an open crown next time I'm out. -

Stetson 7x clear beaver; had to stretch it a little from 7 1/8 to 7 1/4. Fits snug but comfortable. Need to get a liner for it at some point! -

Impeccable style. I don't know if it was intentional but the hat bash and break in the pant legs are similar in geometry and really elevate the overall appeal of the outfit. -

Thank you for the tip! I will order one today. I had no idea the leather would act that way; it was cartoonish how it stuck to the seat and came off like gum/wax when I picked up the hat. -

Hello everyone, thank you for taking time to help! This is my wife's Sage Green 3X (size 7); we left it out in the car and I had no idea it was possible for the sweatband to literally melt off, but it did (see pics). Houston was lovely this summer. The hat was heavily distorted as well... -
