Been dabbling with some photography here and there. Here are some of my favorite photos I have done.
Note: I took all these photos and then edited them.

And just for fun. Here is me teaching...
A lot of firefighters still wear leather helmets (leather heads). They are heavier, but provide just as good protection. S.C.B.A. was not needed as much back then due to lack of toxic materials in most structures.
Here is my thought in it. Ask, if they have take home container, then they must encourage it. If they didn't they would not spend money on the containers.
Plastics, chemicals in the newer stuff, all kinds of factors to make it burn faster.
I just finished several firefighting classes, (a lot more to go) one of the things we learned was that back in the day a structure fire would double in size every 60 seconds. Today a fire will multiply by 5...
All I have to say to people like that is, No one is making you watch it. Don't ruin it for others. If you don't like Charlie Brown, then go back to watching your (in put show name here).
Sorry I have not watched TV in 2 years so I am not sure what's on any more. I get my news from online...
Yes. After the winter 2 years ago where we were stranded for 2 months. I decided to start parking at the end of the road in Winter. This year I joined the Vol Fire Dept and was given a set of chains for my car.
AMEN!! We used to take off at sun up and be gone all day till sun down, then...
Chattanooga still does (or did in 2002) Blue light laws. But it was only after midnight Sat until 6 am Sunday. I hated it because I am a night owl so if I needed to go to wal-mart on a Sunday, I had to drive to Fort O'. Kinda a dumb law IMO.

The photo oneterrifichog posted of W. made me laugh. I thought about Chris Farley in 'Tommy Boy' doing "fat guy in a little coat". LOL
Scarfs?
I didn't see anything in the "Start Here: Links to Important Threads" thread. Are there any good threads about mens scarfs?
EDIT: Thanks for merging this. :)
I am looking for a nice scarf to wear with my pin stripe (in avatar photo) and solid black overcoat. Was thinking white or grey.
Undershirt is no problem. I am a Volunteer Firefighter so I keep a department shirt on at all times in case I get a call. (No not a Superman thing LOL)
Wearing my straw fedora killed me this past summer. I don't know if I could wear any kind of something that had a coat, but I like the kakies and polo idea.
That bit of advice just helped me big time. I have always been worried about dressing "vintage". Even if it is just jeans and a sports coat. It is not the norm in this area. But I see the way people look at me. Not knowing what they think. Some times I will choose to leave the coat/hat in the...
I am looking for something like this for my wife for Christmas.
Size 26/28
Bust: 54
Waist: 60
Budget is not that great as we are unemployed and working form tips we earn from volunteer jobs. But that does not mean I expect it to be free. Just can't do much over $50 or so.
Thanks
