i love the pictures! everyone looks so beautiful!
i curled just the lower ends of the hair, but my avatar shows the first time i did pincurls in years; since my grandma first showed me. she has very short hair. mine is getting just past my shoulders now so i've found the technique of...

read the book
though i haven't seen the movie, i have read the book. difficult to put down. it was a very interesting glimpse at another culture (though the book is fiction). i'll be interested to see how the movie compares.
has anyone seen Target's faux fur white with tan (other colors also available, i just like this one) elbow-length cape at target recently? i was wondering what era it was styled after...ie whether it would be a good vintage-style accessory. it only cost $25! thought it'd be nice for going out...
well i've introduced myself briefly before, but just wanted to thank everyone, esp the ladies for their tips and help!
also, welcome to many of the new girls! you'll love the powder room tips!

many thanks
thank you! this answers my original question! so now i must become knowledgeable about wearing lipstick...
fortunately, you ladies here have given me quite a few great suggestions. i have found a lipstick that looks passable (pink, though perhaps a bit too dark). esp for...

this seems like what i'm looking for. so, you can put lipbalm over it during the day as needed? very cool, i'll look for it next time i'm out...
thanks!
:)

i also go for dove
agreed! last time i got my hair cut i asked the stylist what "grocery store" brand would be best (and affordable)...she said Dove. i must say it is very nice. doesn't strip away any natural shine or softness. i've been using the 2-in-1 for a few months now and love it.
