Well I got another new hat, this time from Peter Christian a menswear company online here in the UK, very good value for money at only £95 which is about US$ 125 dollars, fur felt, presumably rabbit. Not an easy price to beat. Now to get some steam on to define those pinches a little -

Well I can't compete with 8000 yards!! I have 2 or 3 yards only. It was billed as vintage but who knows? It is 3 inches wide. -

to be fair the relevant hatmakers have all been able to source 70mm for me which is close enough, I also have built up my own stash of 3 inch ribbon, although I don't have a clue how to put it on the hat!!!
