    Nomex Flyer jacket

I am also looking into getting a Nomex CWU and would really like to have one of those with the matte fabric. Is there any way to identify them definetely? The pictures on eBay can be very misleading. Judging by the pictures on the Valley Apparel website I also have the impression, that the...

    Leather quality on new Highwayman

Thank you very much guys for your input. I think I will contact Amanda again to send me some of their leather care. In the next days I will also post some pics of me wearing the jacket... @SwimCap: Did the Pecards help in smoothening the leather?

    Leather quality on new Highwayman

Indeed the leather is quite rough and dry on the back. Amanda says, this is normal though :-/ What kind of conditioner would you recommend? Anyway I would expect, that a new jacket does not need any kind of treatment!

    Leather quality on new Highwayman

Well I think that the quality of the leather is different. This is the front: http://www.glowfoto.com/static_image/28-043351L/8885/jpg/11/2010/img5/glowfoto ...and the back: http://www.glowfoto.com/static_image/28-043459L/3869/jpg/11/2010/img5/glowfoto What do you think?

    Leather quality on new Highwayman

Hello, recently I received my new custom Aero Highwayman with a one-piece back. I really like the jacket and admire the workmanship on this garment. But one thing keeps me thinking: the quality on the back panel differs from the front. While the leather used on the front is smooth and...

    Advice on buying Aero Rocker/Highwayman

Well, that's what I did. Sent Amanda my measurements and that I would like to have a close fit. I also told her that I recently tried on a size 40, which was basically fine, besides that I found the waist way to large. So she offered me to do some tapering "by an inch or so, whatever I feel...

    Advice on buying Aero Rocker/Highwayman

Thanks for your quick reply! Hm, I really like the look of the vertical pockets, but the horizontal ones seem much more practical to me. Well, that's correct  But I will see it as an incentive to stay in shape ;) Like you mentioned I would like to avoid the crumpled sides...

    Advice on buying Aero Rocker/Highwayman

Hey all, after reading all these posts about other people's leather jackets I finally decided to get one too. I would like to have a clean, slim fitting jacket, so I am thinking about ordering an Aero Rocker/Highwayman in black FQHH in size 40 with these alterations: - one-piece back - no...

Aero Ace Café Rocker vs. Highwayman

Well, I also tried on the Halfbelt jacket - indeed the fit is much trimmer than the Highwayman. But actually I don't like the halfbelt on the Halfbelt ;) The jacket would be for casual wear basically. I am looking for a style as the Ace Rocker - clean and simple, but with a snug fit around the...

Aero Ace Café Rocker vs. Highwayman

Hey all, I am thinking about buying an Aero Ace Café Rocker Jacket, but don't have the opportunity to try one on. So could anybody give me some hints about the fit? I really would like to have a slim fit, my measures are 107 cm at the chest and 96 cm at the navel area. Recently I tried...
