Oh, this makes me sad...my 1-year-old daughter's birthday is Halloween. Everything you said is what I worry she will feel. :( I really, really did not want that for her birthday, but it just worked out that way. People have tried to tell me that she won't mind having a Halloween birthday, but...
I think office supplies is an inspired idea! I have a few fancy witches hats, and I'll pick from one of those, but Halloween is my baby daughter's birthday...I have kids costumes and birthday cake to arrange, so I don't do much for myself. I do enjoy helping my children with their costumes and...
I am a stay-at-home mama to a 20-month-old daughter and a 9-year old son, so most of my day is running after the little one and shuttling the big one to activities and school. We live in a wooded area and my daughter loves walking on the trails behind our house, so I'm tromping through woods...
I have such a hard time figuring out links and pictures, but I did want to mention that I received the Sweetie dress from Trashy Diva that I ordered recently, and I wanted to give a little mini-review because I know a few other ladies here (Fleur and MaryDeluxe) were considering it as well. The...
I finally broke down and pre-ordered this one...it doesn't ship until 6/15, but I'll review it here once I get it. I'm not usually a big fan of green with my coloring, but it's hard to find a repro shirtdress that is this cute, and the price is good, in my opinion.
I don't know, but I am VERY happy about it. I used to love wearing belts and I wore tucked in shirts all the time, but then the waistlines dropped so low, and belts just became a thing of the past. I am long-waisted, so this is a much better look for me that the untucked, low-waisted look that...
I enjoy her Twitter as well, and she does get to do some incredible things! As for the beauty of being 36 is realising that you're experiencing the best moments of your life and appreciating them...well, I have two kids, so I define my "best moments" a bit :D differently from Dita, but I still...
I wondered this myself just yesterday...saw some cute "Gossip Girl" type headbands at Target, one with a small-ish black bow and another with a gray frill...I considered them but put them back. Was just not sure about them. I am 36.
Oh, no, no! I thought it was darling and that you did a great job--I should have said so earlier.
As for her washing it out and not wanting to wear it, well, she might be more of the type to blend in rather than stand out, and that's okay. Everyone is different, and she needs to do what is...
I love that picture--it reminds me of all the pictures we have of my uncle Randy as a boy.
My Great-Uncle Phil is a true Texas cowboy...he lives on his ranch in Orange Grove, Texas where he was born in 1920. He mostly wears Wrangler jeans, a cowboy hat and a starched oxford shirt and has...
As well you should, you look very cute! Tess, by any chance, are you tall? Those jeans don't come right under your boobs the way they fit on me. I am 5/4".
I think I might not be the right fit model for Freddies. :(
I think for me, it's because the Freddies of Pinewood jeans come up so high, it's just hard to get the narrow part of the waist over my fat bum. I'm embarrased to say that there is definitely a little jumping involved, although once they are on, they are fine. lol
