I tell you the secret. It's the width of back and shoulder we need to work on and achieve. All the problems get solved. Have them just a bit more expanded then all of sudden jackets start fit much better. Start doing pull ups.
Hi. Since we seem similar build and we both asian, I wanna share what I've gone thru. I'm 5'7 and 172lbs. I prefer length to be hitting right on belt and I typically wear mid to high rise jeans. I started with Aero dustbowl sz 38. P2p 22 back length 22.5. It became my fit jacket. Johnson...
I gotta admit now I fully understand why Mr Proper said he would prefer a bit more of front drop than what it is. My posture definitely requires longer of front drop to not have front of jacket get lifted up when I stand or put my hands on pockets.
Mid 50s with rain is perfect time for Aero Dustbowl to get played. Perhaps 22.5 back length is a bit short but I been loving classic vibe that I can enjoy out of the pattern.
It's always pleasure to see someone who recognizes the details. Thank you sir. I enjoy those heritage pieces to be playing and bringing orchestra on my body as their playground.
LW easy ryder, love everything about the jacket yet not a fan of Scoville zip tape. It's showing rip from the bottom where male tip is attached to and just hope that I don't need to call Stu for 150 + shipping for same exact zipper kit
That French gentleman, the first owner with all his glorious days within the jacket, would never had thought of the chance that his jacket would be surfing thru TFL members.. I wish he would've not moved to smaller space..
I personally owned 2 of their waxed canvas jackets and when it comes to durability and quality of construction, you can trust on them. However they definitely are new to leather game, many members here in TFL are giving you similar insights and that shouldn't be just passed by. Iron and resin is...
As a person who has been in service industry for 19 years, that's where I would have my expectation towards and how much of excitement would be kept there until I finally receive the jacket/custom product. Knowing of how such industry works definitely play in our brain, as with tolerance play...
And again, special thanks to Mrproper, without him it would been real challenge figuring things out. I really tried not to annoy him, wish all my approaches weren't too much of hassle, never wanted to seem as all these were potential long term reach, just this time. Thank you sir.
So the whole order process has come to the end and like we all know waiting game has begun. I am now at the point where I think fair to summarize what I've gone through since I placed the order.
1. Placed order by Aug 7th Mon.
2. Received 1st contact from Steve by 10th Thurs. It was with warm...
I see. Then imma apologize to the seller and hope he didn't feel offended, it was all lack of experience of such cowhide before. Thank you for your insight!
