After 28 years of marriage, and two daughters, I'm starting to pick up a bit of "female". With three ladies in the house, it nearly impossible to get by without at least a working knowledge. Still amazed at how many times I think I know what they're saying, only to find later, that I had no clue.
Have you considered the Red Wing Heritage option? I share Damo's issue with the 1000 mile boots. The smooth leather sole is like ice on many surfaces. The Iron Rangers don't have a tread, but the RW Beckman's do. Here is a picture of them in black (several other colors are available)...
Thanks!
I love the jacket, and have been trying to get my wife or daughter to snap a few of this one and the 30's halfbelt, now that they're a year old. I need a sunny weekend with nothing on the calendar. Unfortunately, those are few and far between :-(
I have the Barnstormer in Cordovan HH. Here are a couple of shots when brand new (last year)
Its a size 46, so there is plenty of room for layering a heavier sweater if needed. If I had my way, the sleeves would be a tad shorter. I have noticed some bleeding of the cordovan. Ruined a...
I have to admit I love Randall Made knives. Here are some shots of some of my favorites. Some are photographed with firearms. My apologies, in advance, if anyone finds that inappropriate for this thread.

It is full auto (as is the Swedish K), and therefore most definitely pre-ban. Federal law enacted in 1986 prohibited the manufacture of any new machine guns that would be available for sale to civilians. Any made after that point could only be owned by law enforcement agencies of those licensed...
Only about 5 years. Surprisingly, with all of the ridiculous restrictions in MA, machine guns are permitted. We just need a separate license, which (not surprisingly) many chiefs don’t issue. If you are in Boston proper, then you certainly have experienced the worst of our gun ownership laws :-(
Sorry, but that looks utterly uninteresting . I say that, fully acknowledging how much of McQueen's style I admired. Maybe if it were in the tan cotton, I'd give it a second look.
So many great artists, like Stan Stokes, Robert Taylor, and Tony Weddel, to name a few. One print that always stood out for me was "Deadly Chase" by Ronald Wong. Always loved the Spitfire, but what I like most about this piece of art is the way in which it conveys the speed of the chase.

Zhz, I would tend to agree that it wasn't issue. I don't think the M51 was ever issued in woodland pattern. I also haven't personally seen an M65 with external elbow reinforcements. That elbo reinforcements almost sounds more like the old Italian camo jackets

A few from a long time lurker
So admittedly, it has taken me quite some time to post for the first time. I thoroughly enjoy the Lounge, and have learned so much from the members, over the years. I figured it was time to contribute, so here goes a few shots of a portion of my collection...
