    I’m in between 10.5-11. The problem with these isn’t the length per se. they fit on a flat stand. It’s that I have a super low volume foot so as I step my foot slides forward just enough to hit the front. I am a 10 Barrie last, 10 iron ranger, 10 grant stone deisel, 9.5 flat head engineer.

    The flat heads do feel a little more narrow through the mid-foot. But the lower heel (sorry not block heel because it does have a logger like profile) prevents my foot from sliding forward. That said I think the lightens look a little sleeker.

    thanks - yeah, I didn't want to mess with them but the thought crossed my mind. I ended up going with a low block engineer (flat head) and they fit great with no sliding on the step.
