I like Schott jackets but I’ve never been completely thrilled with any of the (four) 141‘s that I’ve owned. They were in sizes 42 and 44 regular. I liked the leather, the action back and the overall look of the jacket. It felt fairly heavy and fit good through the body…pretty generous cut for...
I think it works good enough, maybe just a hair short in the front but really good in the back...and I like the style of the jacket. What size are you wearing?
Sometimes this site can be a little glitchy but I’ve never felt that it was directed at me. I rarely give advice but here goes. Just chill out, browse through the archives, check out some pics and see what people are posting. This isn’t a debate club, it’s a place to learn and hang with people...
I’m somewhat embarrassed to ask, but was there no Mary Worth today? I’m finding Matt Brand to be an upgrade over Link (who picked the wrong girl in my opinion).
I think the fit looks pretty darn good. I wouldn’t go up or down in size or tweak this one. if you need to wear another layer under it, a few minutes in the gym might not be a bad call.
Regarding the length, there‘s something about this style that “feels” shorter than it actually looks. I...
Lesco bomber style jacket. Smallish size 44 that looks well made for $64.99

I’ve had two Eastmans. An ELMC Roadstar and an Ostman Luftwaffe both in size 44. The Roadstar is one my all time favorites! Great pattern, a little more of a matte finish to the horsehide that looks and feels broken-in pretty early in the game. Great quality and exceptional workmanship. Roomy...
They don’t seem to come around very often. I just looked at the history again and the one I bought on eBay was listed with a buy it now for $625 (I thought it was $650) so I jumped on it. I’ve never seen a 46 listed anywhere that why I tried to at least get an offer in. These are cool jackets!
Being more of a Schott Perfecto guy, the main zip seems a little on the small side but I never had any issue with it despite the jacket being bit snug across the bottom and putting some pressure on it. I bought a sweet #8 Riri two way to replace it, thinking it would buy just a little wiggle...
Really cool vintage “White Label” Vanson Associates Boston black leather cafe racer style jacket. I’m not sure if this is their early competition weight leather but it is quite robust and has some incredible graining and patina going on. The exterior shell, seams and liner are in great vintage...
I know you’ve voiced concerns about Pecards and pumped the tallow alternative. Is the Pecard’s that you have issues with the (liquid) Leather Care Lotion, the firm wax-like product in the tin or both? I haven’t had any issues (yet) but don’t have any super long term usage to judge by.
There was a recent thread about a Beau Breed cafe racer so I thought I’d share this one on EBay. Burgundy size 44 with a starting bid of $80. Kind of cool...
Somebody else may be able to afford more. That was just my ceiling on this jacket (sight unseen) based on the eBay bidding and end price of my own 44. Don’t worry, Is the rule on here you only give “friends“ deals but never get one?
