I used to like the '20s look of the brim down all around; Indiana Jones certainly ruined that for me! I've never liked the brim up all the way around except with a homburg or a derby. A little too much Popeye Doyle, certainly not a maven of style. So I have to go with the traditional snap...
I think the bottom line here is that, since you're from NJ, you've gotto be longing for a time and place to wear your panama, and SD seems made to order for it. I had to force myself to go to Florida last week just so I could wear my panama and my spectators.:cool2:
