Most of his hats are in fact Borsalino hats. We sent the prodction company for the show a hat or two. From what I'm told, Mr Spader is very specific with his hat reqiurements.

I am happy to see that at least one hat factory is coming back. The Borrione family owned the Cervo factory before it was taken over by the Rommiti group.
Now we have to wait and see what happenes with Borsalino .
I think that pre WW2 , the variety of colors that were worn were not as varied as the selection that Borsalino showed after the war. There were more offerings of colors as time went by. Today the variety of colors that the company make is vast but the quality is not what it was.
While I dont think the factory will close , the present ownership has actualy hurt the company quite a lot. Since the present CEO has taken over , the number of stores that have sold Borsalino hats in Europe and the USA have gone down especialy in the USA. The new ownership is preferring to...
Hats.com is selling off all of their stock . They were the distributor here in the USA until this whole mess with Borsalino started. There are some good deals there but not much left....
The hat was made for Rogers Peet so it was for the American market. The tag could have been put there by the store . I dont think Borsalino used tags like this that were in English.
