Fitcheck Fine creek leon 44 or 42. Which one should i choose.

That's not true, that's just the cut of the pants. These are the pants from the same brand and same dude in the video he wears both size M and size L at 174cm 70kg, seems pretty normal to me. Cargo pants should be worn with a wide cut, especially M-51 and similar era cargo pants. I don't mind...

Fitcheck Fine creek leon 44 or 42. Which one should i choose.

What's wrong with these pants? They all look like a regular military cargo pant fit to me.

Is it safe to buy RRL from Ali Express?

RRL is pretty expensive in China, every time I hear of stories of factories stealing or producing extra "unauthorised authentic" goods I doubt those claims. Especially with larger brands that should have tighter security protocol. Occam's razor, I think being a fake is more likely and easy...

    1930s Mugshots: Newcastle Upon Tyne

Really interesting, do you know what is meant by "Comp" in these? They all seem to be fresh. Also this really reminds me of the 1920s mugshots from Australia that were popular online for a little while. https://rarehistoricalphotos.com/vintage-mugshots-australia-1920s/ Most of them are...

    Price difference in Japan?

What do you mean by bypassing the auction? Like offering them a buy it now price? I've recently seen an auction I was going to bid on get cancelled because someone bought it via Rakuma but it's very rare. Typically all the auctions I see get bid to the end unless the seller deems the price too...

Just when you thought you had seen it all . . . (Warning: Not for the fainthearted)

Jeez... Why? Some Japanese brand's absolute desecration of a Peter's jacket. It has a slanted D-pocket for some reason as well as a arm pocket? Looks like they stole the pocket layout of a Buco and then rotated it and squished it into the smallest area available on the jacket. The "chest pocket"...

    Brian the Underhanded Bootmaker

Unsung looks to be a really good option, Kblake posted his pair in the Engineer boots thread and also almostvintagestyle has a pair, they're probably some of the nicest boots I've ever seen.

Vintage Outerwear: Threads of the Past

Another Sears label I haven't come across before, Boyville, that zipper stopper at the bottom looks like an earlier one. I'm really into these wools lately but I haven't found one for myself as of yet. Seems to be a label for kids, but the measurements look close to a 36-38.

Vintage Jackets You Regret Not Buying

Thank you so much for sharing these images, after viewing the Sears catalogs, something caught my eye and I remembered another jacket I missed out on. I was bidding on it, looked like a quality wool jacket, but I've never heard of the brand, it had a crown zip as well. But now I see in this...

Vintage Jackets You Regret Not Buying

Here's another Topline I found with a very basic design. Looks like an unrefined A-2 to me, and I have less doubts about the authenticity of this one due to the wear and use of a crown zip, what do you think?

Vintage Jackets You Regret Not Buying

That does make a lot of sense and would explain the price and condition. I've attached the full set of photos. Interesting, the YKK zip looks very weird to me.

Vintage Outerwear: Threads of the Past

Saw this one on a Facebook group. I think the poster mentioned that this button up crossover style is common for Australian jackets of the era. First jacket I've seen of this design, seems like a cossack and aviator mix to me, really beautiful. Somewhat similar to the following jacket but also...

Vintage Jackets You Regret Not Buying

Easily my biggest regret is not getting this Sears Topline, sold for a crazy price in this condition about $280 (looks pretty much mint, save for a small hole in the leather)

    is monkeypants in style lately?

I meant lightweight like linen shirts, or a shirt jacket, something like a packable UV layer would fit, I have some Kapital cargo pants with a massive pocket and my jacket just barely fits, with the monkey pants it should fit it easily as the pocket is much larger. In summer I wear long layers...

    is monkeypants in style lately?

Thanks for sharing, having learned about the original intent of the pocket, I can definitely see it as a viable spot especially during summer to go bagless but still carry a light shirt/jacket and be able to tuck it away. I usually wear a light jacket or shirt for UV protection which doubles as...

He said it was a surcharge of $245, so I guess it would be $2045 normally.
