    My Merlin Yoxall easily gets the most wear. For reference, I also have a Vanson Chopper, Rev'it Rebel, and Aero seven and cafe racer.

    When I lived in Northern IN, 50 degrees was t-shirt weather. I've acclimated to NorCal so anything below 65 degrees is jacket weather. And 50 calls for a winter coat!

    Losing length- how much to take into account when buying new?

    My horsehide aero cafe racer lost about 1” in body and sleeve length. I put it through about 15 complete rain soaks, always laying flat to dry away from heat sources.

    My wife is Japanese. When she was new to this country I told her how much I liked Japanese style, especially how the gents layered and accessorized. I said I wanted to get into the style but I don’t have the right body type. She said “Don’t worry, there’s fat people in Japan.”
