    old-fashioned hiking boots

    speedbird Hey speedbird, I have that pair of boots. They are very heavy and you must wear 2 pair of socks for them to fit proper. However, they will and do wear like iron. The boots are completely lined in leather and take a decent shine. Short hikes ok. Long hikes too heavy.

    Wow! Thanks for the response guys. I think i'll go with a 7 or 7.25 . When the hat is on my head i don't want to feel like it is in a vice.
