Akubra Angler, Banjo Patterson, Traveler, or Cattleman?
An Akubra fedora would be nice, but I'd stay away from an Indy bash and go with a different color.
Tilley says curmudgeon to me--maybe the hemp model in Mocha. Not a very dapper lid, though.
I've got a Montecristi Panama that's at least a full size too big, and also has a bit of a budget sweatband. I'm hoping to get a recommendation of where I could get the hat reblocked in my size with a nicer hatband and sweatband.

I've been wanting an Akubra for a while now, and have been looking through the various styles searching for something rugged enough for the outdoors, yet not overwhelming for city use. I was thinking something with eyelet-vents would be good, as I live in the desert Southwest.

Oh, I should also say that the Tilley's straps seem to work pretty well -- use the back one highway patrol style in light wind, and both for full-on gales...

I just saw Blood Diamond for the first time (not great, not terrible) and DiCaprio was wearing a hat near the beginning when he's posing as a NG photog and trying to smuggle diamonds out with some goat herders. The hat looks like maybe an Akubra, though it's pretty beat up. Any ideas? Banjo...
