    Putting it all together

Didn't want to start a new thread just looking for some advice from you guys. walked into a thrift store and found a lovely 40's style black double breasted jacket with white pinstripe, changed hands for a couple of bob (£2) thought just occured to me how I'm actually gonna wear it without the...

Your Favorite Years? What time period do you follow?

I agree with you on this point. 20's in your twenties, thirtees in your thirties , too old for the war, then your memory starts to fade when style collapses ;) lol

Gosh, I'm going to get into a heap of trouble here, and don't really wan't to retread the debate. I'm in the 'anything goes' camp on this matter. I'm a big fan of cravats and believe they can be worn in many situations. That's as close as I'm treading I'm afraid ;) I know I'm talking...

    Gin Lovers Unite!

Mother's Ruin! Drink of the gods! My favourite drink by far. Not too picky on the brand as the juniper berries make even the cheapest I've tried palatable. A small squeeze of lemon, a bit of ice and some super cool Indian Tonic Water. Great stuff!

Your Favorite Years? What time period do you follow?

Different days different inspiration. Generally the thirtees seems to add the most draw for me at the moment in all its forms: The music is at its prime, the hair styles, the more earnest looking suits (seems to be much less overt padding than the 1940's) Women's sleek fashions...It just seems...

Yes indeed, well originally from rural Anglesey, but moved to Manchester fairly recently. There are a few people here from England it seems, I was quite surprised.

    The Cravat

I was at the Blackpool Punk festival (whatever they call it these days ;) earlier this year and they had a few knock off copies of the very same shirts at fairly low prices...rather interested to see that the majority of 'punks' there were middle aged accountants ;) (please note I don't have a...
