Yes it is removable however, I felt that with no belt at all it didn't look right. I liked the look of the buckle end but not the longer tail end flapping about.
Picked this up from eBay earlier this year and first wear today.
Aero CXL Steerhide, around 30-35 yrs old and very well broken in. After a few cleans with saddle soap the leather is a buttery feel to the touch yet will still stand up by itself.
I'll admit that all my jackets are Aero.
Two reasons for that....firstly they're not a million miles from me so I can go up and have a look at something I want...secondly they have my fit nailed.
Ok, prices have gone up yet I still feel that what you actually get is still good value.
No issues at all with mobility.
The reason I went for that back was simply due to the fact the belt disappears into the kidney panel bit and thought it looked a little cleaner.
I've jumped on a J-106 with a KOR back.
Already have one in black Badalassi so now have one on the way in Tobacco Brown Badalsssi.
I keep saying no more :)
Ok, not an old jacket but this arrived today
Aero Leather AN-J-4 with the leather trim being Dark Seal Jerky.
As ever, Aero have my fit well and truly nailed!....back length is 1.5" shorter than standard and waist is reduced by 2".
Ok, not a used item however...
My Aero AN-J-4 has now gone into production.
Not cold enough to wear it but I can at least sit and look at it when it arrives :)

Electricity and Gas prices through the roof,
Interest rates on the way up,
Wages on the way up,
Import costs and purchasing costs for all materials ranging from leather to cotton.
In effect all costs will have risen, only...
Was looking on the Aero site yesterday with a plan on maybe getting a Stockman.
Spotted (and bought) this horsehide one on ebay today at just under under 50% of new price.
Aero will also do a bit of a mix and match if you ask nicely :)
I have cross zip with a J-106 front and a KOR back in black badalassi.
Stunning jacket.
A Real McCoys N1 Deck Jacket.
Size 42.
Worn 7 or 8 times and only selling as with the Alpaca lining it's a little snug on the shoulders for me (gym bunny so have quite large shoulders!?
Excellent condition and totally unmarked.
£500.
Item listed elsewhere.
Time for an update....
The V12 Vantage went last October and I went all American!. The Vantage was a wonderful car but having done 14,000 miles in 18 months I'd had my fun with it. Have always gravitated to low slung sports cars however, with now being a crusty, tall and not exactly Mr Flexible...
