    WTB/Swap Old Stetson Liner

I've got a brilliant '40s Nutria Quality Stetson on the way. Only thing it's missing is the lining. I'm wondering if anyone has a suitable liner for it. Doesn't have to be exactly original to the hat, but I'd like to eventually have something vintage and Stetson in there. I've got some decent...

    Buying A Block

Hello all, I'm looking to order a 3D printed hat block to remove the shrinkage and taper from my '50s Royal Deluxe Stetson. My head circumference is 58.3cm. I'm going to fold down the sweatband when reblocking, so to allow for the space the sweat will take up, I'm thinking of going 1/4"...

    Casablanca Hat Color

I still can't figure out just what it is - maybe a small head circumference and broad face - but no one has ever looked better in a fedora than Humphrey. Perfect match. It's obviously no hot take that he was a style icon, but it's always worth restating how extraordinarily well dressed the man was.

    Casablanca Hat Color

I'm going to guess it was a beige or tan color. Not gray, not brown, but somewhere in between. In the photo at the top of the page with Ingrid Bergman, the hat had been rained on, thus appearing darker (I think). I always assumed the hat was about the color seen here.

    Casablanca Hat Color

Very true. Still a closer match than what has been passed off as Archie Bunker's hat. https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/archie-bunker-hat.55530/ I know we have a more discerning eye than the general public here, but these aren't even close.

Glad to see it's finally happened! I've admired your work for some time, as you well know. 6", #52 block is exactly what I'm after myself. My hat tapered in while dyeing it black. I keep finding blocks that are the right circumference but not #52, or vice versa, or not the right height...

What's the smallest size vintage motorcycle (cross zip) you've seen? Does 32 exist?

After deciding a 38 ICS Pakistan jacket was far too boxy, I did a good amount of research and decided I wanted to try an Excelled. I was thrilled to find a 34 and bought it for an expected price. Cleaned it really well. I'm finding that it also is rather boxy. The arms and body length are...

Fit check - Aero 1930s Half Belt size 42

Peter Gabriel, is that you?! The fit looks good to me. If you love the jacket, I'd say an ill fit is out of the question. If all of the subjective allowances are to your liking, wear it happily and don't overthink it! [Edit: or, if you have the funds and inclination, you can have it modified...
