I bought a modern 10x OR shantung at Cavender’s and wanted to give it mule kicks. I also shaped the brim upwards on the sides to give it more of a cowboy look. I loved how it turned out! I also have an OR 6x shantung and was able to do the same thing with that one- Jazzsaxy123

Here’s my Dobbs! Came with a center dent and I steamed a teardrop in it and added pinches. Not sure what decade it’s from because it has a 1960s liner but has a brown cushion-aire sweatband. The School of Hard Knox
My new Knox Twenty! It has a velour finish, but what I love most about it is the unique band around the crown! There is one noticeable moth nibble on the side of the crown. Looks almost mint! These are the kind of hats Bing Crosby wore!- Jazzsaxy123

Discolored Brim
I’ve noticed some discoloration in my 1950s Royal Stetson. I’ve drawn arrows next to the slight discoloration to point it out. The discoloration is not really a big deal to a lot of people but it does bother me a bit :( debating whether or not to spend money to have a thicker ribbon to cover it...- Jazzsaxy123
