I have two Johnson jackets with heavy, 4oz+ horween CXL, and although they were quite stiff they were pretty comfortable for every day wear. But the hide you've chosen looks different from the one I've used. Looks great
Yup, JL have been absolutely on the dot for me and what I wanted them to make for me. And they're the only ones, that I know of, to provide mock jacket for fitting. Over all great service and construction for a price that is very reasonable compared, say, to Himmel or Lost Worlds or any Japanese...
As a person who can almost never find a jacket off the rack that would fit even approximately well, I have to order made to measure. Most of the times is a variation of existing pattern/design, with primary concern, functionality as I ride motorcycles and actually want to be able to move my arms...

Concur. This jacket will be my third from them and couldn't be happier with the previous two.
But I would have to caution people about the mock jacket as it is just a canvas fit jacket and the finished product will definitely fit a bit differently. So when ordering and adjusting your...
I am promised my new JL jacket by February 25. I ordered it Dec 6, but with holiday break and vacation they pushed the delivery date by a month. I had two fittings and hopefully the result will be as good as the previous ones.
