Does anyone have experience with Thomas Farthing's hats? They look really great (at least in the pictures on their website) and the price seems very reasonable - a little too reasonable...

I'm having another hat made in the same FEPSA hare felt, but in coffee with a 6 in crown.
I'm sorely tempted to try a Tom Mix crease on it. There are so many possibilities with a crown that high.
I will post pictures when I get it.

My only concern with the hat is the 2-ply ribbon - which is a casual element on an otherwise dressy hat.
I'm considering replacing it with a thin grosgrain? maybe with a campaign bow.
Any opinion on the matter is welcome!
I humbly submit my recent acquisition. FEPSA dress-weight felt done up with a contrasting two-ply band and two-row brim stitching.
Sort of a western-fedora, I guess. Started out with a cattleman crease, but ended up with a diamond. The felt is surprisingly easy to shape for a modern hat. And...
