Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but maybe? Has anyone ever purchased a jacket from eBay seller mintvintage66 out of England? Seems to have an ongoing stock of old leather jackets in seemingly good shape.
Diving into my first leather jacket and I'm enamored with the cafe racer cut.
Looking for something in black, vintage/used preferred. Doesn't have to be spotless. Brooks, Schott, Kehoe, etc is sort of my reference.
Also, nothing super heavy as I plan on wearing it during falls and springs. Oh...
So I emailed Lewis Leathers to see if they could confirm or deny that this jacket was one of theirs. They agreed that it looked an awfully lot like one of their jackets from the 80s but without the identifying tags, they couldn't confirm.
C'est la vie.
It is a jacket I am looking at but am pretty hesitant because a) I don't know who made it and b) can't confirm from the photos that it is even genuine leather (though it probably is).
That Lewis Leathers is awfully close. The only differences I spot are the lack of the Lewis patch and the snaps that hold the flap in place. If it is not a Lewis Leathers, its a pretty good version of it.
