Fox Creek, Vanson, Langlitz are the names that come to mind for top quality, functional, motorcycle leathers (note, leathers often dont come with elbow/shoulder/knee pads). Aerostich and Klim for non-leather. There are others, of course but, these are all good quality.
I could be wrong but, I didnt think Langlitz Japan actually made the jackets and they're all still made in Portland? The jackets made for Japan tend to be much more colorful (based on what the buyer wants) than the standard Langlitz jackets. If my assumption is correct, the leather is the same.
Absolutely beautiful Langlitz and priced really well. As I'm 6', the back is probably a bit short for me (I think you're 5'7"?) otherwise I'd probably be buying this one.
