Main issue with these stores is limited stock size wise. As to the prices, if they've got it in stock, try it and if you like it, shop around on-line. Possibly why the prices are so high as their overheads are also.

Well personally I'd suggest the Loake Burford, in Burgundy. £250 in UK, and not too heavy weight. Go well with jeans and brown or black leather jacket - very versatile number IMHO.

Interesting - Never looked at Aero for footwear only Jackets. Not sure how the Dainite rubber soles, used by Loake and also Aero it appears, compare in performance to the Commando version, apparently made by another British company: Davies Odell. Anyone got a pairs of each to give a wear/comfort...
