    Langlitz cowhide scent? aroma?

Hello I have 2 Langlitz jackets both in cowhide. One is flight jacket and the other is columbia. My flight jacket has this leather scent which was initially very strong when I first got it (which was more than 6 years ago). The aroma is now faint but still there. However my Columbia does not. So...

    Question on Stitching in general

Most if not all leather jackets are machine made I presume. What do you think is the most feasible solution with undone stitches? But then again my work boots are probably machine sewed but they hold up pretty well and I do not baby them.

    Question on Stitching in general

I beat the hell out of my jackets too. But maybe I should be a little more careful from now on.

    Question on Stitching in general

Now your comment gets me paranoid again haha I wish jacketmakers use some sort of stitching method that prevents undone stitch from spreading. Like they do with the welted shoes where a leather sole does not necessarily laminate even when welt threads break.

    New Thedi Memphis- Fit Check!

One more thing. After all the monetary losses due to sub-optimally fitting stock jacket purchases (not suggesting that is your case, yours looks fine to me), I came to a conclusion that custom jackets are well worth the wait and upcharge.

    Question on Stitching in general

    New Thedi Memphis- Fit Check!

Looking sleek. I wouldn't change a thing. But then again, looking a jacket and actually wearing one are completely different. Underarm footballs can really be a game changer which starkly increases the range of motion, something that European jacketmakers rarely offer. Try Langlitz next time.

    Question on Stitching in general

Hello guys Few weeks ago, I tried to take the paper label off of my new chino pants and a stitch on the piping inside the pants came undone along with the label. At first it was just one loose stitch but after few wears I noticed it propagated to the sideways, so I had to take it to the...

Langlitz mid weight cowhide; glued or not?

Now I am completely sold on the goatskin! Thanks! Can I ask what model you would choose if you can order another one? I want a model that is forgiving around the stomach and pelvis because I easily gain weight! I already own a flight jacket and the elastic waistband really makes it an...
