    Indeed, one of the cooler cross zip configs I have seen, and I have looked through quite a few. There is a lot going on in the design but somehow it doesn't seem too busy. it gives good symmetry, even for a cross zip.

    If that does not work, invite some friends over and have an all-night poker game while smoking cigars and drinking (and hopefully spilling on yourself) some fine bourbon--all while wearing the jacket. This is, of course, a last resort.

    Have you had the opportunity to wear the jacket while riding? Is it comfortable on a bike? That's a heavy and thick hide. Do you look for that in a jacket for protection while riding or is that just a style you naturally gravitate to? It's a great design. As you Know, it's a favorite of mine too.
