After moving 2.5 times in the space of a year, (moved everything into a storage unit, then into the house) I swore I'd never move again.
Then the wife decided she didn't want to be married anymore. Now I get to do it again!!! (but less than half the crap this time)
Too bad...
A double breasted shirt???? Maybe it's in case you gain weight....the black ones are to shame you into dieting???? [huh] :p
Can't wait to hear the reason for this one!!! Someone here will know the answer.
Those are the AE's I have coming. Can't wait for them to get here. Worried about buying used, but figured I can run them back for refurb & still be below new.
Hmmmm......photo uploader didn't like this one for some reason.
Got these off of ebay last week.
Rockports.....cheap. Didn't realize the toe was as square as it is, but it doesn't look bad. Could have used a wide...will take a little wearing in. Walked around a couple of malls...
One what????? ;)

I love this thread.....just wish I had a place to wear one!!!!! I'm buying one by the end of the year....I'll find a place to wear it.
Actually, (although I usually forget until later in the day) I always celebrate February 14th for the TRUE holiday it should be:
Arizona Statehood Day.
:eusa_clap  :eusa_clap
lol Actually, it's not quite that bad for me. I'll buy candy hearts for my kids as always....I haven't gotten anything for Valentine's Day for years, although my STBX wife always got a little something. I've actually met someone I'd like to get to know better, so my head is a little more...
Sixties.nut: Nice avatar!!!!!
Well.....I'm in a Charlie Brown mood this year.
In the middle of ending a 14 year marriage, and not my idea. So......my plans for this year????
Interesting thought.....I could try to find a pair of trousers to match my AE spectators. (Bourbon/bone) So basically....treat it as a sportcoat? I'm still hoping to find a pair of BBPs to match....will be keeping my eye on ebay. Possibly go with black trousers? I have a pair of wool ones...
I recently purchased this waistcoat & jacket off of ebay. For $12, I figured I'd take a chance. It's a Bill Blass Premier in charcoal. This pic shows the most accurate color.
I looked into it a bit before I bid, but didn't realize until after the auction was over that the BBP line had...
This is sort of my first suit. eBay special, $15.......but just for the jacket/vest. REALLY hoping I can find a pair of pants to match. as I can't wait to wear it. Bill Blass Premier Collection. 100% wool, made in the USA.
Bourbon/bone. Bought them from the outlet, wore them once....then lost 70 pounds. Now, they're too loose. (they were a bit loose to begin with) Still in box, AE polish cloth, and shoe trees. $150 shipped.
My new toy. Squier Deluxe Strat in Daphne Blue. I had an Epi SG once upon a time, but had to sell it. My oldest son is taking lessons as well, so I thought I'd get back into it.
lol No worries. I spent most of my youth planning on a military career that for a number of reasons never happened.....a fact which brings me a great deal of pain to this day. That's part of the reason I defend the CAP so strongly...it's the closest I came. As I said though..we were a special...
HEY!!!!!! :rage: Back when i was in Civil Air Patrol (USAF Auxiliary, with a long & proud history of our own...including two submarine kills) we wore the regulation USAF uniform. Now, as to how WELL we wore the uniform....well we were technically civilians. For my cadet squadrons part, we...
AAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was just thinking about these the other day. Back in 85 I was in the Civil Air Patrol. As part of my Aerial Observer training, I had to get certified as a CD Radiological Monitor. It would have been my job in the shelter to operate all the...
I love tiki. Some of the Chippies might know this place:
I still remember going there as a kid. Probably why I love the tiki/island/parrothead life so much. Don't have much tiki though. Couple of torches on the deck....some plastic stuff we got at the party store. I need to start...
Yes, because by eliminating it from view, we can make sure it never happens again.
Much like the Holocaust memorial they have every year, where the German representative sits on the stage and is allowed to say NOTHING.
Wonder if they ever stopped to think that part of the...
