Carlos, it's way too large for my sizing so I've absolutely no intention buying. The beat-up part is actually what many would pay for though. Agreed IMO also, it's ambitious as a starting price! I guess the question of how much it's worth paying, for many people, is not how new/perfect the item...
I wonder that between different similarly styled vintage jackets, the individual wear characteristics of a specific jacket appeal (to me at least) way more than the quality of a particular maker. It's subjective but that same jacket on Etsy has way less character than the one on Yahoo, don't you...
Well I've been lucky and unlucky with Yahoo JP. There are some gems but it would be almost useless for someone buying from outside Japan. It's fun to browse vintage stuff from as far back as the turn of the 20th century. There are regular examples of truly vintage coats, jackets etc which date...
Wow! Thanks for the ID. I was even able to find an (exact?) matching one on Etsy where the label is clear.
For anyone interested, just search here:

Like the Japanese seller in the original post, I saw the outline left...
Another current favorite (no hope of wearing it myself.. XL!)
WW2/40s era German bikers jacket... Looks supremely thick...

I've wanted to post some examples from the Japanese Yahoo Auctions site for some time but thought it might incite problems of some sort. Anyhow, throwing caution to the wind...
There some nice deals on the Japanese Yahoo Auctions site for large sizes (42 and up) because this is way over the...
Yeah I sort of gave up the idea! It looks like it'd be a tough job getting the existing zip pull tab off (leaving the same base slider).

My shoulders are far from broad so I somehow like the bigger "slightly over" shoulder fit. For a slender body, I feel it works better to have a bit extra in this way rather than a perfectly matched or tightly fit shoulder. I've seen some Japanese made jackets being modelled with closely fit...
Suburban zip
This is the zip (above) that my jacket has and which LW seem to use mostly on their Suburban jackets recently. It's very sturdy and well up to the job of the heavier hide. #7 or maybe #10, not sure. LW seems to have only #10s in their parts/restorations section so maybe it's #10...
Thanks for your videos. I'd actually taken a good look at them before.. they really helped deciding before I ordered. Seeing a video helps get a better idea of how the leather will really look.

Thanks for commenting..glad to hear the fit looks ok. A real relief.
It has a Scovill paperclip kind zip.
I actually wanted a heavy duty square shaped Talon... Same as on many 80s period military jackets. Maybe LW forgot... The Scovill is heavy duty enough for the leather in any case.. Just...
With a thick hoodie underneath, same... A good fit... maybe I should just fatten up a bit..
As your A2 softened, did the fit change significantly? I'm guessing the jacket's shoulders will drop a bit and add extra to the sleeve length (not necessarily good..) I'm hoping the leather will also...
I'd like to introduce myself, de-lurk and ask some feedback....
I'm an Aussie living in Tokyo. I have a few jackets... Aero Stockman coat, a Vanson Spokane coat, a Vanson vest and a Lost Worlds Suburban.
All my jackets are size 34. The coats fit "OK" but the sleeves are too long especially...
Yes, 4oz. Everything is "standard" including liner. I like the satin - easier to throw on..
I wouldn't say it's overly warm although it definitely blocks the weather. I'll update in a separate post with fit picks tomorrow (already past midnight here as I write...)
