    The reference to sewing your crease in place (no sewing) on the box, is interesting.......AND I remember you and that great find every time I use one of these to these purpose.......what can I say....it works. And yes, I "soften" it up some, and remove the hing bars after I set it.

    Yep, that too.....and of course, "re-sizing" them which often involves cutting both mentioned and then coupled with a re-blocking which often changes the crown depth and brim width and completely destroys the integrity of the original. :(
