    Thanks. I’ve a 41” chest and I’ve gone for a medium. I don’t layer. Always T-shirts under my jackets. I’m 5’7” so the shortness doesn’t concern me. I like my jackets short. I know these jackets were intended to be worn over flight suits so I’m confident a medium will be fine.

    I’d go with the zip up all day long. Much nicer IMO. I imagine the trucker would be a nightmare re. liquid spills leaving stains.

    I don’t see the ads. I use ad blockers on both my iPhone and MacBook Pro. I also get no loading problems when navigating the site. Maybe the ads not being loaded and the site behaving nicely are connected?

    Check out the MariaAguye shop on Etsy. Maria makes them to order. I’m unable to vouch for them as I don’t own a pair. I’m not in anyway associated with Maria. I was looking for good reproductions myself and found the shop while browsing.

    Well the decision was taken out of my hands. I went to check out the 70s example only to find it had been sold. That'll teach me not to prevaricate. Not finding another another example that I'd be happy with I pulled the trigger on the 61 jacket. I was too impatient to wait for another to come...
