Besides, he could possibly draw in some younger fans to have an interest in history witch is sorely lacking these days. I find most people don't know of this story at all! I did. It was interesting to see the Komet fly. Serious balls needed to climb into that thing. I never heard of the encounter with the Mosquito before. I relly like the realisim they give the graphics on this show. Did you see the one about the New Years Day attack? -

Wow, that really brings it into perspective. Thanks. Everytime we would go to visit or they would come and see us, I would bug him about flying in the war. Had lots of great stories of his time in England. Quite a few pictures too. Unfortunatly his flying career ended in 1949 at Van Nuys... -

Correct! He also had 1 probable and 1 damaged Me 262's to his credit. Punkie was my Aunt's nickname. His time in combat was from Jan. to May 45' -

Found a film done by Steve Ananian that he shot on 16mm movie film around the base of the 339th fighter group at Fowlmere , England. Gives a rare glimpse of daily life at the base with some film shot from the airplane as well. You can find it here... -

Modern cars with vintage style
There's a large number of Speedster replicas you can get here in the states,from lousy to pretty good. Then when you drive it around , you can be snubbed and ridiculed by all the owners of real Porsche's! As far as the Solstice and Sky go ,fun cars screwed together reasonably well, a bold move...- merkman

1970 Honda Trail 90. Lots of fun. Rode these in the early 60's Found this one for $250! 1966 Honda CL77 Scrambler. One of the best sounding bikes of all time. Will vibrate your fillings out! Sold mine last year to a guy in Florida. I should have kept it but , not prctical to ride these...- merkman
