I was watching one of my favorite movies, Inherent Vice, recently and realized that joaquin phoenix is wearing one badass fedora in one of the scenes. Would love to know if y'all had any thoughts as to what this may be? I love the crease in the crown and how flat and uneven the brim is. ~J -

Thanks Michael, really appreciate all your input. I'll definitely give them a call and try to sus everything out. I am confused though, as the leather band certainly says 'Premier' and I'm pretty sure the regular strat doesn't come in this color. Very strange. -

That is craziness. It is indeed a 7 1/4. Oy. So in your opinion, this isn't the quality that a strat premier should be? Good to know. Now, I just have to decide if saving $70 off the normal asking price is worth these issues for my first hat, tough one. I think I can probably live with... -

Ah ha, that makes sense! So open crowns are built higher so you have the flexibility to lower them as much as you'd like when you bash. I am becoming more enlightened by the day. -
