A little off topic here............... there is a local shop that sells vintage clothing near my home. The owner who knows I sew vintage for myself has asked me to make up some dresses in larger sizes to sell on a commission basis. Whose Wardrobe would you love to have??
I just saw a movie with Michael Caine and Demi Moore called "Flawless". Her wardrobe, late 50s or early 60s was great. Also love the clothes on "Mad Men"- they're early 60s for sure.- fifties gal

The Evening Tipple...
Don't normally travel with our sons, both in their thirties, but the stars ( and their wives, both otherwise occupied) were aligned perfectly last fall. We took a five day trip to St. John's Newfoundland and had a few two for one White Russians on George Street. I haven't been able to make one...- fifties gal

How to get pale, luminous skin?
You might want to try using baby powder. Recently I took off a "mental health" day from work and not wanting to look too robust the next day, when I returned to the salt mine, I dusted a little baby powder on my face. Several people commented on how "pale" I looked after my illness.- fifties gal
