A little off topic here............... there is a local shop that sells vintage clothing near my home. The owner who knows I sew vintage for myself has asked me to make up some dresses in larger sizes to sell on a commission basis.
My question is this- how would you finish these outfits...
I just saw a movie with Michael Caine and Demi Moore called "Flawless". Her wardrobe, late 50s or early 60s was great. Also love the clothes on "Mad Men"- they're early 60s for sure.

You might want to try using baby powder. Recently I took off a "mental health" day from work and not wanting to look too robust the next day, when I returned to the salt mine, I dusted a little baby powder on my face. Several people commented on how "pale" I looked after my illness.
