My boots made it back from Whites, fully repaired, and at no cost (not even shipping). Any reservations I had are completely gone. Customer service = 5 stars! except they kept my leather laces..no big deal
I did manage to get the repair shop when I called last Thursday. He found my boots, and said it would be this coming week before he could access the damage. I did not drop anything on the toe, as I'm sure it would have been a memorable moment. I'm not giving up on them, but I sure hope...
In a paddle rig on my side as we speak! I've got several other 1911's, but this little girl is "warm to the touch"......hope that doesn't sound perverted!
Some time ago I acquired a large poster by Norman Rockwell. It measures approx 37" x 27", and is titled The Lineman. Its colors have somewhat faded, but still very nice. I have tried to educate myself on what type of graphic it is, but its a maze to learn. So, I'm going to pass it on...
About a year ago I purchased a pair of Whites simi-dress boots. Finally got em broke in, but lo and behold, the toe support insert (plastic) caved in.....not dropped or abused at all.
The store said after 6 months all bets on warranty are off.
Waiting for a return call from Whites.
