Really love this jacket - very festive (in a restrained way) and the color palate is ideal for Veterans Day. Too bad they don't make this style/material today. You could add some stars across the shoulder area for a salute to our Flag too!
Wow - Monkey Pants - really?
The placement of the rear pocket/pouch is an ideal location for a Flatulence Detection device to help relieve the methane gas crisis on our climate. It would alert the wearer (and any bystanders) of the impending gas leak to avoid anyone keeling over.
Maybe Monkey...
Thanks - yes, the Maverick does have a special appeal and fit that my other Type III jackets don't have but each has their own appeal due to better hides/construction/details. I think MrProper introduced the Five (5) Star to this forum some time ago and, of course, the fit of all his...
Super nice Cheyenne - love the color of the leather. I assume this is an older model Type III as Vanson only has the Maverick. The scenery images are a special treat - they do steal some of the Cheyenne's attention though.
Here's an image of my Vanson Maverick in Brandy Roma (it's not that RED in person). I ordered this expecting a 8-9 week turnaround but it arrived a week later. Apparently they have these in stock even though it indicates 'Special Order' on the site. Your 5 Star appears a bit more robust overall...
Wow! Really beautiful jacket there Panda! Love the color, the clean style and ideal fit. There's something about the orange hue that really makes the jacket a standout. Thanks for sharing another one of your spectacular jackets!
Those jeans remind me of my Aero FQHH jeans I got from them back in the early 2000's. Due to time and an 30 extra pounds, I haven't worn them in over 12 years. To bad as they were like wearing a pair of very tall boots that fasten around the waist. The hides are super grainy and thick which...
I agree w/El Marro. Here's an image of my Aero Type 3 in Navy Vicenza. Really super nice jacket that mimics Levi's Type 3 pretty closely. The pocket flaps are more in proportion to the rest of the jacket/style. I got mine about 2 years ago and paid about $750.00 - with the latest increase...
YIKES! Those prices are stratospheric considering some offerings resemble a straight jacket to a certain extent. Didn't see one similar to the one you posted but I only looked at one section. Regardless, if resources are not an obstacle then I'm sure the cost is secondary to the look one is...
Wow - that is quite a spectacular jacket in every way. The hide, the stitching, the back design and unique metal adornments really make this one of a kind. I would imagine the price reflects this most exclusive looking garment. Quiet elegance that will surely garner envious looks. And to...
As I replied to Mr. Proper - same here. Really nice hide although I'd be petrified to wear something so capable of picking up anything just by wearing it. The pale green slacks/trousers/pants/(shorts??) do look festive and complement the tone of the jacket.
Yes, I saw that option and do recall that Canuck Panda commissioned/received a jacket in that hide. I think he posted an image of the back along with a few others. Thanks for your input.
Really nice Type-III - Aero doesn't have the Natural VIcenza available for this style at the moment. Is this Comipel HH a replacement for that? Don't see it listed on their site. Regardless, my favorite style regardless of hide.
Thanks for your reply and the comparison images of your Model C and Maverick. From my observation your Maverick appears to be the Comp leather and is more in line with my Comp Maverick. Yes, Torfjord was the instigator (in a good way!) for myself and you to get a Maverick in the Brandy Roma...
