Looks good to me. It’ll loosen up a bit as you wear it, and you got the sleeve length right, which can be a pain with knits when the sleeves are like an inch too long.
Yeah, the rule is you make a tiny incision at the end of the tape and try to use your finger to painfully open the rest. Bloody amateur, makes me sick to see!
The sleeves on Vanson jackets are always too long for me as well, it’s a pain. I’ve gotten mine shortened, which I might fail to mention if I sell the jacket on… (not on here though)
Hah true, I meant that if your dog was a toy dog Stu might be a bit offended at being asked to make a jacket for it, one of those fake poser fashion dogs, not for real men!
I’m a fan of those civi flight jackets as well. Older LL Bean Flying Tiger jackets pop up on eBay every once in a while, worth grabbing if you see one, they’re very similar to the Schott 674. I managed to score one in good nick from a fellow member here. Yo, I’m off to work in the meatpackers!
'No man can wear a leather jacket after this age
Exceptions to the cause are men with actual motorbikes and the truly tough' Well I don't have a motorbike...
Ha ha! The cut-off age is apparently 39.
