Nice to meet you all!
My name is Ana and I'm from Spain. I've always been in love with vintage eras. I'm a multi-period historical reenactor, but I'm focusing on 30s to 50s for my daily life. Currently I 'm starting to sew my own vintage clothes, but I hope to expand this style to my home...
Thank you ladies! You have great knowledge on this subject! I have no idea about vintage appliances, but maybe I'll get some in the future, following your advices. They are so lovely!
I keep a 1930's letter from my great-grandfather where he complains about the hat one of his daughter's was wearing when they met up. He was ashamed of her extravagant hat, as well as her "excessive makeup", as they were attracting attention and that made him feel uncomfortable... I so would...
Thank you for your advice! I have an olive skin tone, so I try to avoid certain undertones, specially pinks, that make my face look even more greenish. I use a matte brick red lipstick from my local store, and I really like it, but it's not red enough for a vintage look... I'll try to combine...
I don't know why it is so difficult to find a red red, not a pinkish red, an orangish red or a purplish one... And I guess it's even more difficult to find a cruelty-free one... I'll let you know if I find an alternative option.
