Hi Gang I have acquired from different places a Stetson OR. a Borsalino and a Bollman all in silverbelly all three came with a pinkish shade in areas. I am guessing Sun exposure but thought I'd see if anyone has seen this. I will experiment in cleaning the Bollman as it is not an awe inspiring...
I would certainly agree that it's better to buy a hat that fits but when it costs just $14 and just a bit small I'm jumping on it and stretching it regardless of what may happen later. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
