OP I'm going to highly recommend moving on from both jackets. Your choice of course, but my goodness there's a reason why we've all said thay neither looks good. Its just such a terribly patterned jacket.

Me at roughly 195-200 pounds and a size 42 Mulholland fits well, albeit a bit long in the body and definitely too long in the sleeves.
Me at around 165 pounds and a size 40 Mulholland is too boxy, but a 38 would be too tight in the chest and shoulders

The Mulholland is a bit boxy. If the taper of the Cooper fits you well, you likely will not fit well into the Mulholland.

It's because Fine Creek jackets tend to have terrible patterns that don't flatter most bodies. They're long and tubular and don't follow the shape of bodies well- hence the excess fabric in odd places.

This wartime Sears Topline is already on its way to its new owner. It's an extremely cool jacket, but it's much too small on me.
Still glad I got to own it for a few days though.
