Yes, you're right. I was mistaken regarding how much the tall size adds to the length and sleeves, it's actually 1 inch. I'll get you that measurement, no problem.
Yes, I am really rather skinny, i don't think there's any other way to put it. I weigh about 150 pounds, and my chest measurement is 37.5 inches (95 cm). As for the jacket, I've never really measured one before, but here goes (I'm listing the measurements in cm also because that's what I...
Thanks Worf and all the others for your comments! I'm very pleased with it, indeed.
@nick123 - I have never noticed that crease, now that you mention it. It might be due to the fact that I had to fold it for a trip a few days earlier, or that I was sitting in a cramped car before taking the...
Sorry about the delay. Here are the fit pics. I took these in a hurry, so perhaps not the ideal circumstances, but I think you can see the fit pretty well. These are 36 tall, and to me they fit very well without being baggy but also without restricting my movement and allowing me to layer.
Hello loungers,
I have been a very happy owner of an Aerial Star A-2 for about a month now, and would like to share my thoughts with the rest of you. I am not an expert on A-2 jackets or leather, but tomsk has already done an excellent, more in depth, review...

You are quite right, Fanch, that is something I forgot. I reside in Brazil, which is one of the reasons for the price limitation (the current exchange rate dollar-real is 1:2.2). I'm used to importing stuff though, so that is something I can work out with the seller.
It does seem that buying a...
Thanks for all the answers guys. I'm going to keep an eye on the classfields and the ebay for a gently used jacket. Aerial Star also seems very impressive and competitively priced, and I also noticed that it's made of steerhide, vs the goatskin or horsehide of the usual reproductions. What are...
Hi guys,
I recently became interested in owning an A-2 or similar flight jacket (maybe an A-1 or G-1, not sure yet), both because of the history of the garment but also because of the look and aesthetics of the design. However, I'm not a reenactor, so details (e.g.: original zipper and...
