If I remember correctly from my Marine Corps days, the sleeve length regulation was 1/8" above the second knuckle on your thumb.(kinda long for you lounge posters) but we didnt have any fancy cuff links to show off :) I don't know about air force but she looks about in regulation.
Thanks for the quick replies guys. That AMT3000 looks to be exactly what I want. Glad to hear everyone is pleased with its performance. Sounds well worth the money.
So I was at my local drive in, and they transmit their own signal for the movie sound. So I thought, can I do that at my house so I can use all my old am radios I have with a cd player or my computer playlist? I started searching and Im not really finding what I looking for. Anyone of you guys...
Odd that in the movie he had a 3rd Marine Air Wing patch. Not sure about Navy uniform regulations sinse I did my time in the Marines 2nd Air Wing. But we could in no way alter our issued uniforms or wear uniform items with civilian clothes on our free time. Let alone place random patches on...
From my military expireience, a Lt Col can pretty much do what ever he wants. Thanks for the help guys I'll start looking for a correct olive drab shirt with tie.
lol a surplus store Ive visited sinse I was a kid, 2 years ago had racks and racks of un issued vietnam era jungle boots in pristine condition. for 20 bucks each! only problem was that they were sizes 7 and below and 13 and up. hahaha
thanks, I was looking at some reproduction uniform pictures and it looks to be the "pinks" Im happy because they only cost me 10 bucks for unissued un hemmed with original quartermaster tags. The good repros are spendy. would these have only been worn by Army officers or would AAF officers have...

There just Jungle boots in olive drab. do a search for those, they should be easy to find. then just cut the upper canvas off. Don't buy the cheap $30 imported ones, I had a pair that lasted one week before the soles fell off. Altima makes them brand new in black and green. Ive had both. The...

I have been building my wardrobe with late 40's to late 50's era clothing over the past few years, but come to a few stopping points with suits. Because of my size (6'2" with a 46" chest and 36" waist) I have a horrible time finding vintage that fits correctly so Ive pretty much given up and...
