Allen Edmonds MacNeil 11A $250 plus shipping, shoe trees not included.
I bought these as seconds from the Outlet Store for my job. Wore them a couple of times and love the fit. Then my job changed from office to more field and I just don't need them and they do not get any wear time. I have...
I received this hat from Tony several months ago. It is Pecan Beaver and meant to be similar to a Whippet.
In the last week I have worn it 5 times running errands and every time I went out, I got a compliment. Just love the fit, feel and look of the hat. Another outstanding job by Tony.
My first hat was a Pendelton wool Indy type fedora. Bought it in St Ignace, MI around 91. Wife loved the way it looked but I never got used to it. I still have it. My dad always wore a stingy brim felt fedora. I always liked the way it looked on him. Sometimes he wore a baseball cap, but not...
If you look close, you can see a vertical accent strip in the center of the bow. It matches the edge binding ribbon.
Tony did a terrific job.
I think the hat suits me.

Steve,
Thanks for the compliment. I have been on a hunt for the right style for me. I really like the look of the Raiders Hat. The proportions work well for me.
I have a couple other hats, a vintage and a few moderns but none come close to this one in fit and comfort. I like the looks of...
This Raiders hat arrived in the mail from John Penman yesterday after a several month wait. My first custom hat and I am thrilled.
John was a pleasure to work with and the hat fits perfectly. I am between a 5-3/8 to 5-1/2 so the custom sweat band and size is a real treat.
I really like this hat.
Tony put this one in the mail to me today. I will get it on Tuesday. It is a loose interpretation of a Whippet. The color is Pecan but the photo does not do it justice.
This is my first Tumwater hat and will not be my last. Tony was great to work with even though we are several thousand miles...
Not exactly in my pocket today but I will have it by the end of the week. A Danitrio Cum Laude. They are discontinuing these. Check out the review here http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php/334858-Pen-Review-Danitrio-Cum-Laude-(Cumlaude).
I have no affiliation with the seller or...
Good info re the 409. I have used that with great success. Just need to be careful with really old pens as it may damage the materials. For modern pens, I don't think it is a problem as long as you clean and flush but do not soak.
Also, a little baby bulb syringe is helpful for directing...
No better way to kill a good discussion than to criticize a poster.
So let's get the thread restarted.
I am a fountain pen user and have been acquiring them since 1990 when my Dad passed and my Mom gave me my Grandfathers' Sheaffer FP. It was from the 1930's so I had it restored and still...
Pelikan M600 Rollerball Mods
Kirk,
It's a little tricky but not hard.
You'll need a few drill bits, and maybe a pair of pliers or small pair of vise grips. Also, a caliper is very helpful.
I started with the Gel refills I wanted to use. I like the blue ones from UniBall. Get whatever you...
I bought one today from Bob's discontinued stock. Got a Caballero Brisa Natural. Says it's a Montechristo and I'm looking for a summer hat. Couldn't beat the price.
I'll post photos when it gets here.
I am curious as to how it compares to the more expensive Montechristo hats with a finer...
Every day carry is a Pelikan 600 Green Roller Ball. I modified the inside of the end, very carefully, so it would allow the G2 gel refills to fit. The Pelikan roller ball refills were way too dry. Now it writes well with an off the shelf Gel refill. The Pelikan Roller ball in my shirt pocket is...
